Papa's cottage was a little yellow bungalow on the shore of a big lake in Ohio, bought by my mom's father for my mom, my sisters and I to enjoy. It meant a lot to me as a kid spending my weekends boating, fishing and swimming off the dock, but when we lost my mom to domestic violence when I was only 13 years old, Papa became my surrogate father and the cottage became my happy escape from a sad life in the city. Unfortunately, we lost Papa when I was 18 and my grandmother sold the cottage not long after. It seems like another lifetime, and I miss all of them every single day.

So in Papa's loving memory, welcome to his namesake, Papa's Cottage. We're currently located in NC and sell through our web page (www.papascottagehome.com), on Etsy.com, and at local shows.
